Tom Henderson was teasing an extra announcement which didn't pan out, he clarified that he has heard about Final Fantasy and Gears but "maybe we'll get those announcements soon" so even though he was wrong about them being at the Direct, he believes they're still happening.
He also said the Gears he had heard about was a remaster.
