They should migrate battlenet over to the Xbox app. No reason it should exist.

Looks like they want battle.net to continue to co-exist and be another way to play first games going forward. Functionally, battle.net is a very competent launcher. Especially when compared to the Xbox app lol. But there's also the case of it being more than just a launcher. I've had my battle.net account for about 25 years now. It's just a deeply ingrained aspect to the Blizzard community that just outright getting rid of it for a much worse launcher would create a lot of bad PR. 

So rather than get rid of it, they're just adding it as a way for the diehard Blizzard community to play Xbox games. 

I think it's because it's a UE5 game. It's just been a very demanding engine this gen. 

Last year's Immortals of Aveum had a recommended GPU of a 3080ti. Epic released the engine too soon imo.

Hard to disagree with that. No matter what; having 2 launcher is not the best; if you like or not the GamePass one; at the end; it is just so much better with only one :D

Is that new? The date I mean. I they said Q1 but I did not realize it was that early (Feb 18th). I probably missed it.

In any case; super happy about it; everything I saw so far about this game is amazing!

That's actually good; I mean GamePass give you the game for free (kinda); and if you want to play few days early you can throw in some money.
You seem to basically want everything for nothing at the end; the world does not work like that.

It is like the people complaining that paid "cosmetic" is not fair... I mean; nobody is forcing you to pay for them. Same here, you will be able to play your game on release date, day 1 on GamePass... If you want it early, that's on you :) GamePass is DEFINITELY doing what they are advertising it for. 

MS wouldn’t want to disappoint you Tbf, nearly every Deluxe/Collector’s edition of games comes with a digital code only with few exceptions.

As a $70 game, I would be surprised if a physical release doesn’t happen. Whether the whole game is on disc is something I would be doubtful of.
