One of the worst decision made by Activision was to regroup all Call Of Duty games in one "game" called "Call Of Duty" since MW2.
Wich mean that now, achivements of MW2 and MW3 are regroup in the "game" Call Of Duty".

How to make the difference ?

The name of the game is in the name of the achivement (Sorry for the french :P )...

I don't know how they will handle Black Ops 6, but i'm afraid it will be "BO6 - Hello World !"

Dumb as fuck but how does it look on TrueAchievements? I assume if I only start BO6 it will only be a completion % out of that /1000 for BO6 and not the full 3000G for all 3 titles? I don't want to play a game only for it to add an extra 2000G which crashes my completion % because they're games that I have no interest in playing, Lol.

This is when I know I am just too old when I cannot find an ounce of caring about completion %, TrueAchievements or whatever those points you accumulate for playing games or trophies on the PS.  The only thing I care about is if a game is fun to play and if I am enjoying playing the game.  The times have definitely changed.

If there was a game which I genuinely wanted to play, I would not care, the difference here is that I do not want to play MW2/MW3 but they may still be added to my profile, Lol. In that case, I'm fine with skipping BO6 because it's not a game I'm that eager to play.

Oh, I get it.  I am basically saying I would just skip it period if I had no interest in playing it.  I heard people playing games just for the achievements you get.  I personally just do not have that type of time within my day to do something I do not like just for a score, points, trophy which I see no value.  This of course is just me. Adding goals to playing games is a great ideal in the fact its like loot hunting in a game.

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

I wonder who goes to someones achievements and be like 'wow he played bo6 but has no MW3/MW2 achievements!! How can you live with yourself? how do you wake up? What does your family think?' =p

If I'm not mistaken, Assassin's Creed is moving to that same system as CoD. The AC Infinity thing was supposed to be a single AC app from which you access all future AC games. I would assume that means that AC achievements starting with Shadows will be tracked as part of the AC Infinity app, with each new game adding new achievements to earn on that app.

Edit: Apparently Ubisoft renamed AC Infinity to Animus Hub.
