I mean Xbox promised that they would be working closer with JP devs than the previous gen. Phil said they were looking at JP studio acquisitions. Xbox Series has sold more units in Japan than OG Xbox, a console that got way more JP games than Xbox Series, including JP exclusives. You can't really blame the fans for expecting better, given the above. Now their only JP 1st party exclusive is going multiplat, and the 3rd party JP situation will probably be worse than ever due to Xbox hardware sales tanking even more with exclusives no longer guaranteed to stay exclusive. 

Personally I never really believed Phil's JP claims this gen, he has been holding that JP games carrot on the end of a stick since 2014 afterall, with barely any progress to show for it. I bought an Xbox Series for the 1st party games and gamepass, though of course I always hoped the JP situation would improve dramatically, even if I never dared believe that it would. 

How is that in any way, shape, or form considered "creepy"? JRPGs mostly sell in the west, xbox installbase is mostly entirely in the west, it's only natural for some Xbox gamers to want JRPGs on their platform.

What? When did I ever say I was a Japanese dev? What do Spider-Man, God of War, and Stellar Blade have to do with the Japanese games situation on Xbox (other than the fact that Stellar Blade was originally supposed to release on Xbox back when it was known as Project Eve, before Sony bought the publishing rights in order to make it into an exclusive, and it is Korean, not Japanese)?

It seemed odd to see so few Xbox fans thinking about Sony games like God of War, Spider-Man, or Horizon.
And Stellar Blade is also third party.
