Not bad, definitely Obsidian's 3rd bestselling game ever at this point, behind Fallout New Vegas (12m+) and South Park (5m as of 2016, 2 years after release, so it hit 5m 2 years faster than Outer Worlds did). Not bad for an original IP, hopefully Outer Worlds 2 will do even better in spite of releasing on less platforms.
