I also would have faith that Layden would absolutely stamp out any toxic shit happening in ABK alongside any bullshit company policies still being enforced. If Microsoft could get him then he would absolutely be worth the price, I just don't know if he'd even be interested. It'd also be funny for other reasons.

Also, the absolute hilarity of Vince Zampella running Activision, after everything that happened, would be perfection and Vince Zampella is brilliant. But Rob Kostich is already there and it's too early to tell right now how good he will be for Activision. I also wonder if EA would be a little pissed off at Microsoft if they poached Vince Zampella from them considering how vital he has been to EA recently.

Phil should hire Layden run ABK

I've always said this, if ABK continues to exist, they should toss money at Layden.

Only complication is that Layden has multiple times spoken about his fears of AAA gaming, the rising costs, the manpower, about him wanting fewer AAA titles and the return of 12-15 experiences, I'm not sure how enthusiastic he would be at running what is one of the biggest AAA powerhouses in the industry, I think he may prefer working more on mid-sized/indies nowadays.

I don't think having concerns about the AAA business model necessarily precludes him from taking the job. Especially when Xbox's business model, with GP is rather notably different than most other publishers where you are really reliant on those huge games to solely drive engagement. And Phil continues to be adamant that he wants the teams working on things they're passionate about first and foremost. I think Layden could feel comfortable, running ABK, and not feeling like he has to turn down some teams idea on the sole fact that maybe it's not a big enough project.

Just in time to see Angry Joe bring up his one hour long starfield review (6/10 if you were curious)

Really wasn't

He gave it a 6/10, I just mention it so you don't need to give it a view

Nobody gives a rat's ass about Angry Joe.

We need to bring back Mt. Dew-fueled commercials like that one with the baby flying through sky.

Lol! There is a part in the trailer where she sees a young kid (I think a young version of herself) playing Call of Duty on an Xbox 360, it's Black Ops on Nuketown, it's not exactly focused on the game but instead her watching the kid. This trailer was definitely made with Microsoft owning ABK in mind. Hit me in the feels a little, Lmao.

Bit cheeky there Microsoft, but I suppose Sony don't have any marketing rights to older CODs
