The only issue is Backwards Compatibility but without that, they will really hurt Game Pass by killing a large chunk of peoples libraries so if they went with ARM, I assume they would come up with some sort of emulation solution for Xbox Series X/S titles.

True, but highly unlikely that Sony launches earlier than 2027, even 2027 seems unlikely for them. We know from reliable sources they have PS5 Pro coming next year, and a Pro console will surely have at least 3 years of life before next-gen launches, which already pushes PS6 to 2027, and 4 years of life would be ideal for them, pushing PS6 to 2028.

So far the shell for the PS5 Slim just has the drive there.
