Sony being narrow minded on the much bigger picture.

If Sony won't sign a 10 year deal, then they really must want something along the lines of MS not putting the franchise in GP or something of the sort. Honestly, at this point, regulators really oughta just look take a long hard look at Sony and say sorry guys...feel free to walk away with nothing.

They've already said what they want, the deal blocked, they said that to the CMA, something along the lines that the best course of action is to block the deal entirely, they won't accept anything, negotiating with them is pointless, hence why Microsoft is taking the proposal directly to regulators now. Whether Sony accepts it or not is ultimately irrelevant anyway, it's what the regulators deem reasonable that matters.

I kinda figured that was just some massive posturing on their part in the hopes of getting the best possible deal out of MS lol

but hey...guess not

At least one thing is set clear on the record now: They can never claim PlayStation's first party IPs are nearly as important as Nintendo's, if just Call of Duty is enough to affect their business and drag everyone through this mud for months.

Never understood the hype around Callisto Protocol. Looked clunky and boring like most Playstation exclusives.

Fans of Dead Space have been itching for something new in the series and Callisto Protocol looked like a solid successor. Visually, it always looked great which I think people expected everything else to match that level of craftsmanship. At least the Dead Space remake will probably be way more polished...hopefully lol.
