Baldur's Gate 3 Releasing This Year on Xbox

Series S owners better prepare coz you’re about to get fucked going forward. Glad to see it finally coming, absolutely didn’t want to play this on PS5.

Glad to see that Xbox finally gave them a special break on the parity clause, or removed it alltogether for all devs. A console like S really doesn't need splitscreen on a game that just can't handle it. Hoping to see BG3 on Xbox around about late October or early November, should give me enough time to finish Starfield.

Now that there is no technical reason for it to not release, it could really release in any month but I'm guessing they'll still want to avoid Starfield so I won't expect it on Xbox still until late September at the earliest as they moved the PC release date forward by a month to avoid Starfield. But hey looks like I was right and it is releasing soon, Lol.

Good to see, I wasn't going to get to the game for at least a few months anyways with Starfield, Lies of P, and Sea of Stars all coming out within a few weeks.

Fine for me, but it's bad that the so-evident solution came only now, guess the title popularity was too high for a longer delay.

I'm in PA so same for 8PM. I'm playing as soon as it drops and probs until 2 as well. Glad we also have a long weekend. I'm annoyed at my work because 9/1-9/14 I'm only allowed to take one day off :/

If I could have, I would have taken 7 days off easily for Starfield. 

Worry of mine, Lol. That it can set a dangerous precedence of developers not even bothering to try to implement features in Series S anymore because they know they don't have to achieve parity anymore so what is the point in trying. Microsoft still has to approve each release though so this may just be a one off, very special case which isn't a blanket rule.

If it's the former then yeah, Series S owners are about to be fucked this generation and they're a large userbase right now, Lol.
