Hello darkness my old friend....no wait sorry. Hello from my laptop. My PC died today two days after I got a new GPU. Looking most likely it is the SSD that is dead or just about dead. Ordered a new SSD and an adapter to see if the old SSD works or not. Thank goodness prices of SSDs recently dropped so the new one is faster and has 2 TB of space. 

I've still go HDD's and an early SSD I had in my PS3 still working but I had my first NVME SSD that died after 18 months and it's the only drive failure I've had in 25+ years which was annoying, What GPU did you go with? I keep eyeing up the 7900 XTX/XT as they keep dropping in price and are pretty low at the moment and also come with the £90 version of Starfield very tempting to blow the cash on one.

Never doubted them, sales are also very strong.

Seems bethesda gets owned in every way possible, Sven must love it, especially when the original Divine divinity became second best (RPG) game of the year while Morrowind winning the game of the year award. 

Not sure why you guys even compare those two games and not sure why Bethesda got owned. Ok, both run in the RPG category to battle for some RPG GOTY award but otherwise? They are completely different games. Do you also compare uncharted with CoD because they are almost closer together than BG3 and Starfield. I want to see that person who is like "damn, was going for Starfield but I buy BG3 instead" or vice versa...

Console wars and nothing more, Konnichiwa gets too invested in things.

Nobody aside from enthusiasts gives a shit about "GOTY" or "Best RPG", it's a nice award but will do Bethesda absolutely ZERO harm in not winning it, it will do Xbox ZERO harm in not winning it. What actually matters is sales and Starfield is tracking INCREDIBLY well on Steam, I'm sure Bethesda will be crying behind their piles of money they're about to make because Baldur's Gate 3 won "Best RPG", Lol.

BG3 might have a higher meta than Bethesda will ever reach with Starfield. But in sales, you know, the only thing that matters in business .. BG3 is sweating.
