The thing is, the game got not even officially announced, it is all basically a leak that we will get a remaster, so how can we answer that question. Should it not be fair to wait till the announcement?

The FTC is Continuing its Appeal in the 9th Circuit.

They had until Wednesday to submit an opening, they submitted it on Wednesday, Lol.

The FTC is going to get its budget slashed 100% if they keep this shit up

You'd think after the recent budget slash they'd stop wasting their limited funds on an unwinnable case.

Well, we already do have something to off of. Quake 1 remastered was announced/released at Quakecon 2021. It was a straight remaster though. It looked like todays "boomer shooters" with cleaner textures, higher resolution and framerates, modern controls, and additional content. But the game still looked like it was from 1996 so you have to figure that trend will continue with Quake 2 remastered.
