What are predictions for Starfield's first-week performance? I think 6m/10m Xbox and PC players. Of that 16m maybe 3m are sales.

Halo Infinite managed 20m players in about a month or so, while Forza Horizon 5 did over 10m players in the first week. I think Starfield should easily dominate both of those games in both metrics, first week and first month. The biggest Bethesda launch to date was Fallout 4, it managed 12m shipped to retailers and sold through to customers digitally in the first 24 hours, while Skyrim did 7m shipped to retailers and sold digitally in the first week. With Starfield, I'm seeing more hype than Fallout 4 had. It is also on Gamepass, which Fallout 4 wasn't, so that will obviously boost player counts substantially, more than offsetting the missing PS sales compared to Fallout 4's 12m first day number.

My predictions

First week sales: 6-7m copies (split 4.5-5m on PC and 1.5-2m on Xbox Series)

First week players: 16m

First month sales: 10.5-12m copies (split 7.5-8m on PC and 2.5-3.5m on Xbox Series)

First month players: 27m

I forgot about the early access, I think First week sales will probably be around that 6m range too now. First month sales on PC will have legs on Xbox most of those first month sales will probably come from bundles since Gamepass is so big on console.

7/10 Game Pass.

If Frostpunk 2 comes to Game Pass thanks to the 11 Bit Studios deal then maybe 8/10 Game Pass.

They should try to get Hades II as well.

Well that is kind of disappointing to hear. I really can't fathom why you would design a game with mountains of side quests and exploration content like Diablo 4 has, and then level cap enemies at 50 while letting players level up past 50 on the initial playthrough, cheating the many RPG players who like to do alot of side content alongside the main story content out of the valuable XP curve from higher level enemies. This means that a player who choses to do side content after finishing the main story will level up faster than one who likes to do all side content before finishing the main story (which is usually what I do in open world games).

Yep, it hit me the same way.  I read about it when I was a level 39 and started adjusting the way I was playing from there.  I think the side dungeons and side quests may be good for the additional character designs for new play-throughs and skipping the story part and doing the sides instead?  But, yeah it could of been nicer with a different leveling up system.

I do not know but I am at level 68 and the world bosses can still one shot you.  Also at level 68, the 4th tier opens up and going through that dungeon I probably died more there then I have throughout the whole game.  I highly doubt you will be OP in Tier 3 because just the nightmare dungeons you can come across multiple enemies that can put you to sleep with one or two hits.

Before I beat the game, I was almost level 60 because I did pretty much every side quest I came across until none showed up on the board anymore.  You really do not gain that much experience in Tier 2 and you only really get to customize your build when you unlock the Paragon board at tier 3.  Even then, you need to farm for unique equipment in order to really get your build powerful enough to even touch Tier 4 unless you are super grinding all the time.  Even after you finish the game there is still a lot of quest that do not open up until you beat the game and then there is all the end game content to muscle through.  I think I have had more fun in the end game then I did during the main quest line.

If I stepped down from Mod, would people feel less comfortable as Xbox fans on this website or about the same? To be honest, there's only two reasons why I'm holding onto the position at this stage and this thread is one of them, I'm conflicted and unable to make a decision, Lol.

You can go ahead and step down Ryuu, I will take over Xbox Empire and invite every PlayStation Pony and Nintendo whatever they are called into the thread and give them temp MOD privilliage so they can strike down any post that even appear to praise or accept anything MS does!!!  I already have Sega Heart on speed dial.
