Q Has Xbox continued to support these games post-ZenMax acquisition?

We have.

Counsel asks if Xbox has reduced quality or if Sony has complained about quality of these pre-acquisition games. There's questions on whether or not Xbox has pulled/withheld content.

Microsoft has a dedicated account management team at Sony that supports Microsoft with repect to the games they release on PS. Matt Booty says the relationship is "cordial".

Q Can you explain why in 2019 why games shouldn't come on GeForce Now?

I was frustrated with the process. We didn't have deals with nvidia, they put our titles on the service without our permission. Since then, the relationship has changed quite a bit.

Okay yeah, the context changes everything now, I remember this, practically every publisher was pissed off at GeForce Now for this and yanked their titles off their service because they stuck them all on there without permission so it wasn't exclusive to Microsoft.

That entire email is irrelevant now, thanks FTC

FTC basically fucked themselves by asking Matt to provide context on the email exchange.

Sorry to those who are disappointed you can no longer play #thelongdark on GeForce Now. Nvidia didn't ask for our permission to put the game on the platform so we asked them to remove it. Please take your complaints to them, not us. Devs should control where their games exist.

15 minute break.

FTC was pretty weak there, Microsoft had more bigger moments, like revealing Jim Ryan's email about him being unconcerned about ABK and even thinking they won't make CoD exclusive to showing that Sony has no complaints about Bethesda/Minecraft content on their platform (no degradation), to showing Minecraft is a closer example for what CoD will be treated like than everything else and market share examples, using FTC's expert witness against them.

Matt Booty was a bit nervous and the FTC lawyer did a better job at trying to bait him and trip him up about Switch's market definition but he recovered and the Microsoft lawyer basically refuted (using Matt) everything the FTC had brought up and helped Matt recover, that was a great response by Microsoft's lawyers. Also FTC asked one too many questions which led to them fucking themselves, Lol.
