I don’t post in here often but damn that conference was exactly what I was hoping for. We got updates on Avowed, Fable, and Hellblade 2. I’m so excited to hear more about Clockwork Revolution and South of Midnight.

Also, the third party games were nice as well! Can’t wait for Jusant and Dungeons of Hinterberg (didn’t catch whether it was 1st or 3rd party). Also I am excited to hear more about Still Wakes the Deep and Path of the Goddess. Also kinda looking forward to Ubi tomorrow to get more info on Star Wars Outlaws.

oh yeah, and freaking Starfield. No wonder it took so long to come out. So much content!

On my side I really do not care about what others think. Game will probably be my game of the year anyway :) It would have been a nice plus but for I played all Bethesda games at 30 FPS before and I enjoyed them; they are def. my best gaming memories :) This one will be no exception for sure!

I mean does it look amazing but i feel if they actually make a good combat system at 60fps it could have easily been the goat if they delivered on just just 70% of what they said. Most amazing open world games have meh combat.

There are things a developer can do to sort of 'mask' the feeling of 30fps.

I don't think 30fps will negatively affect the combat enough to make it not a "GOAT"

Witcher 3's combat was bad but it was GOAT.

The Elder Scrolls Skyrim, Oblivion both had bare bones basic ass combat but are still GOAT.

Fallout New Vegas/Fallout 4, both highly rated, with terrible shooting gunplay, Lol.

Having said this, I don't think 30fps automatically means the combat will be bad, lets wait and see how it actually feels when it's in our hands.

This is facts, at least Starfield will likely be locked 30fps, TotK is my GOTY but boy the framerate plummeted practically everytime I used Ultrahand, was surrounded by a lot of enemies or was in the sky climbing a tree (?!?!).

Todd Howard says Skyrim has sold over 60m copies. Elder Scrolls VI is going to be a fucking monster, Lol.

He says ID didn't really help with the gunplay as well, more the graphics and sharing rendering techniques.

I mean considering  every FPS that's quality is 60fps I think it's gonna be felt a lot more. I agree with you though it could still be goat since most of the GOAT games that are open world have meh combat. For my tastes though 30fps is a big downgrade in FPS combat.

Starfield also runs 1440p on Series S which is pretty good.

Lol.

Just dusted off my Xbox after playing a few PS masterpieces and I see a message about the showcase and direct. Options for watch the shows, game pass pre installs, and pre order games.
Love to see it.
