I feel like JP devs are being too reliant on Game Pass, instead of actually trying to cultivate an audience on Xbox a lot just want a check upfront. Game Pass should be a way to familiarize people to ur franchise and then naturally support the platform. I think Yakuza is a good example of this. It's just unrealistic to expect MS to drop a deal on every and any small-mid size JP game, I honestly think this is why we aren't seeing the smaller SE titles on the platform.

edit: Btw I meant Yakuza being a good example of how to use Game Pass to build an audience, and then support xbox without GP.

It could also be that Xbox fans are too reliant on game pass as well... Especially for third parties where they, "wait to see if they put the game on game pass." And even then, some still won't even play/support them. :/

An improvement for sure but still around double the price of normal of the shelves options -_-.

I hope more manufacturers get involved with this. I think for consoles CFExpress is a vastly superior solution to installing an NVMe drive internally on the device for expansion. The problem has always been the price.

If prices get low and enough and adoption wide enough, I could even see Sony opting for CFExpress with the PS6. It’s that good of a standard for a device like a game console, it just makes too much sense

I'm thinking, for quantume break, I've never heard of this in the game industry but in the movie industry. Some time an idenpendant have good idea/script/book but can't devlop a show or movie on it's own so sell the right to these to a bigger player while retaining a cut on their work and future one. This form of deal often require the acquirent to pursue devlopment of the franchise with new movie or seasons so as the original author continue profit on their cut and if devlopment stops, rights over the ips will eventualy return to the original authors.

Maybe the Quantum Break ip was under a similar deal and so would require MS to cede the IPs back if they did not continue the devlopment of the franchise within a certain timeframe.

Finally Seagates bs exclusive contract expired

Ride The Chariot || Games Complete ‘24 Edition

If all of these turn out good then I'll be playing.

  • April 18th - Minecraft Legends
  • April 21st - Dead Island 2
  • April 27th - The Last Case of Benedict Fox
  • May 2nd - Redfall

Lol. 💀

Guess I'll spread them over May since there's nothing much in May for me.
