Only OG Sega fans like myself over 35 years old know why this is the right decision anyone under wouldn't understand since they never had lived the hatred from Genesis does what Nintendon't or Sega Saturn vs plaything I would never put anything on Sony console or Nintendo one knowing the awful war that affected me and millions who prefer Sega over the big 3 but Microsoft is the lesser of evils.And majority of OG Sega fans strill bash the PS2 no Sega sticker on rival console or friend xbox OG Sega fans have many hideouts

Why stop at Sega though, to compete in Japan, Microsoft at least needs to buy Capcom (MH) and Square (FF and Dragon Age as well). But having Sonic, Jakuza and Persona is a nice bonus for MS. Or they should take a 40% intrest and give Sega enough money to buyout the other 2.

Truth is many OG Sega fans that grew up never left Sega by ditching the Saturn or Dreamcast never left Sega it's the traitors that left Sega for Sony like that Dreamcast guy nothing speaks louder than Sega allowing windows CE on Dreamcast and OG's in our space making fun of PS2 and SNES. You guys left Sega for what then? Sonic is the most relevant thing we sure damn don't commerorate others honest ones never forget Whatever happens in the future is because the damn consolidation.

I'm not like the other OG's the rest rather have Playstation die and some have Nintendo die though few want Nintendo to stay, as for me I don't want Nintendo or Playstation to die. I am helpful kind that Pumps Playstation brand above Microsoft I have a soft heart for Sony I rather other Japanese developers go to Sony I don't want Microsoft to overkill Sony IDK where the extremely aggressive late 90's sony fans Playstation only club that went that bashed both N64 and Sega are now? Most forums have atleast 2 or 3 consoles It's hard finding 1 console owner only unless you're Jackmovejohnny or others which I found out but yeah, Single console owners are less relevant now than back in 5th generation but history is always there I'm just the frustrated of the consolidation I want Sony and Nintendo to be awesome.

I'm very easy to get handle in a good side when I get caressed by non Sega fans I succumb to it and pull alot of positive towards those that hurt my console of choice I'm not like the other OG's I'm the very friendly kind but if anybody met the OG's back then that were full force they get a rude slur awakening those guys a purist would not give Nintendo or Sony the light of day. But I'm indifferent I actually like Nintendo or Sony but I must give tribute to those that are the realist og's that give no love to their rivals. But I stay off that mentality and caress back others non Sega fandom.

Wasn't Microsoft the final nail in the coffin for Sega?  Microsoft coming into the market as another competitor right around the time they threw the towel in.

Sega was getting beat by the PS2 in 2000, It wouldn't matter as much since all 3 Sega,Nintendo,Microsoft got hammered by PS2. Anyway I forgive PS2 I might throw some things at PS2 but just like that one thread that another user created saying Sony killed the Dreamcast I said in that thread Sega killed Sega but in Reality it was multiple factors though like I said though the OG's still to this day have something against those wars though not me but I must honor them since I still feel the 299$ from Ps1 e3

Neither PlayStation, Nintendo or Xbox killed Sega hardware. Mostly Sega themselves did that as harsh as it sounds. They are doing pretty good now though, since Persona and Yakuza seems to get much more popular. Also the Sonic movies made some big numbers. So in the end it all worked out for them.
