Good week overall considering indies are carrying the industry right now. Figured MS would have discontinued xb1 by now, are they still shipping the console?

PS5 is getting closer and closer to the Switch in sales. I wonder how long it will take before PS5 is the best selling console in a week.

If Sony can provide the stock needed for the demand it has I think PS5 can take over easily. Especially going into the holidays.

More interesting to me is how much XBSX can go up if Microsoft can provide stock for the demand it has for the series. Can it reach 250 weekly ? or even 300k weekly ? or be on the level of PS5 in the holidays ?

I don't think it would be easy. Nintendo is expecting Switch to sell 21 million this fiscal year, that's not easy for any console to beat.

What about the switch when they get more stock.  Its not just sony having inventory problems.

Switch shortages problems are way way less. If sony can answer on the demand there is for PS5 it can easily pass 300k weekly (if for a small improvement the sales are jumping to 250-260k then with big improvement 300k is for sure.)

Yes and no, nintendos shortage will be visible during december, instead all over the year

Xbox One fitting its green theme well doing 420 two weeks in a row.

Sure. It'll be 420 worldwide, 69 in Europe next week.

I'm on to you.

Not for the year of course. Only for the upcoming months, of course if Sony can provide the full stock needed to cover the demand, which is very doubtful.

P.S. @trunkswd The title is wrong. It says july 24-30.

PS5 may struggle to have a 20 million FY because of the Japan factor, It's much easier for Switch to hit plus 20m when Japan adds 5 to 6 million per year but for the non handheld PS5 the Japanese market only adds around 1.25m per year. So the PS5 has to sell around 18.75m outside Japan in a year to hit 20m, Switch would have only broken 20m once if Japan only added 1.25m each year.
