This is the first one I've started, and the first one I've seen in a long time, and this is the first time I think it's been such a huge unexpected jump in a week with no huge releases. I know it's just the same old random supply issues, so it can happen at any time, but I thought this kind of leap would happen closer to Wii Fit and Mario Kart in the U.S. I think production's ramping up AND there will be a huge jump around Wii Fit and Mario Kart, AND it's all downhill from here to the Wii getting 110% OF WW MARKETSHARE.

No need for the PS3 ones, there's plenty to choose from.

You realize those threads are from March, July, and January respectively, correct?  I really don't think that's so bad.

There's no need to be fighting this, this is just the beginning. With nintendo making more Wiis, it's a matter of when it will get to 50%. It's going to get really crazy around here soon. i'm going for a drink now.

Yes the threads are old, I don't have the time to finger through the twenty thousand or so threads, but there's been more than a few.

Is the Wii beginning its final attack towards 50% of global market share?  I think GTA4 might put it back in time a week or 2, but then it's smooth sailing until Wii hits that 50% sweet spot this year.  With Wii Sports/Play/Fit on the one hand and Zelda/Galaxy/Brawl/Kart on the other, and WiiWare launching as some sort of third hand, there is absolutely no reason for Wii sales to slow down.

"third hand"? Gave me a slight chuckle. But in all seriousness, the needs another heavy hitter in the summer to get to 50% faster. I know Nintendo would absolutely kill during the holidays. Plus, all the free advertisement they are getting (CNN for example) will push them even further. 50% is still a ways off though. We'll see what happens after the hype for MGS4, GTA4, & Mario Kart dies down.

Wii will get much higher than just 50%, closer to 60%.
