^Playing anything standing up in gamestop is uncomfortable though. If you played it at home, you wouldn't have any problems.

I played the Wii at my cousin's house (DMeisterJ). And he knows how I felt about the Wii. When I was over there I played Wii Sports, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.

Some awesome games by the way. But for me the Wii-mote was different to grasp then others because I for one am not use to it. Unlike some rabid fanboys who love Nintendo will defintely find ways to get use to it in like 20 minutes and say its a awesome experience.

And to tell you the truth the Wii-mote is awesome itself. Maybe once I get one I can pass judgement on the experience. I'm more like telling you a personal experience from me playing it over a peeps house.

Well, you don't have to be a "rabid fanboy" to get used to it in twenty minutes.  I'm primarily a PC gamer and while it was really strange at first it's not so bad once you get used to it.

Unlike what is depicted in the commercials, only small movements are required for most wiimote actions.  I'd never play the thing standing up or with my arms up in the air.

Thanks for clarifying. I needed that, I just need to play the Wii more to get use to it thats all. Once I'm able to figure out the bells and whistles of the Wii-mote. I will more than likely, like the Wii more than the others. Who knows?

Slight movements make the spin move work. I mean barely moving you wrist at all. Try it. Also, your can rest your hand on your leg while sitting down. You don't have to point your hands outward. This is Super Mario Galaxy not Red Steel right?

I hope so. I beat every secret level in Sunshine and I want hard. I expect hard from Mario platformers; it's one of the things I love about it. Mario platformers aren't hard in the RE "omg you suck as a cheap developer hard", Big N just makes it legitimately difficult.
Out of the 120 stars in the game I would say about 40 are truly challenging. Be sure to go to the final boss as soon as you get 60. If you wait till you have collected everything you can before going, you won't have much diversity in the remaining stars.
The way I went through the game was to get every star I possibly could in each galaxy (galaxy cluster? solar system? I forget) before moving on to the next.  When I beat the game initially, the Bedroom and Engine Room were completely untouched except for their respective bosses.  (I'd gone through the "secret garden" area, though.)

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

I have the most epic death scene ever in VGChartz Mafia.  Thanks WordsofWisdom!

I think that the Dreadnaught Purple Coin Level was the hardest. The Luigi's Purple Coin level is a piece of cake once you learn the "trick". I could do it right now with my eyes closed. Okay , maybe my eyes have to be opened.

Don't forget the Lava Spire and Bouldergeist Daredevil runs. Fun times...

I have to admit that when I first saw this thread, I pictured rocketpig standing up, swinging the Wiimote like a lasso the way that emo/punk/goth girl did in the original Rayman Raving Rabbids trailer.

Found it! Skip ahead to the 1:45 mark to see her get down!

then you just didnt masturbate enough correctly.

 Fixed... i think

Not sure what you mean by hurting your wrist.. the movements required are so minimal, and can be done smoothly without a fuss..

i agree the camera isn't perfect, but i think i actually had better control over how it worked than others since it didn't bother me more than once or twice throughout the entirety of the game.. and thats for all 120 (twice) stars

Thank you so much for that.  Next time I visualize Rockpet (it happens all the time, believe it or not), I will only see that exact girl doing that exact move.

Any commercial that uses Dick Dale is pure 100% awesome.

BTW, met Dick Dale. Damn nice guy. The time I saw him play, he had his grandson playing guitar just for shits and giggles. The kid was maybe 10 or 11 and rocked it.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

I'd say that getting 60 stars isn't too big of a problem. However, the next 60 are a lot more challenging. Some have mentioned the Dare Devil Stars, as well as DreadNaught and Luigi's Purple Coin Challenges, as they require perfection. Definitely some of the toughest challenges this generation.

I'm glad you're enjoying Galaxy, as it's one of the best games I have played in a long time. ^__^

And yes, Dick Dale is awesome, I'm still looking for a good version of Misirlou. *sigh*
