I'm gonna have to go for the PS3 simply on the basis that it seems easier to achieve.

Well, the real question here is really, will PS3 be close to outselling the Xbox 360 before the Wii has sold twice of both of them.

I'd say Ps3 should make it first, by a lot.

I have to go with PS3 hitting 25% since its outselling 360 every week

As much as I love the Wii, I'm going to have to go with PS3 since it is closer and it is an easier target to hit.

PS3 should reach 25% because of the gain in momentum it has for 2008 and loss for momentum for 360.

Wii will get the biggest momentum this 2008 but it is just harder and longer to reach 50% given the presence of both PS3 and the 360.

It depends. I don't think the wii has been selling as well as it could lately (based on demand), but I think it's because Nintendo is stock piling for wii fit. If it doesn't happen for wii by the end of the year, it's not going to happen... PS3's goal is much lower, so it could not make it for awhile from now, but still happen eventually...

For Wii to reach 50% it need to sell every week same as ps3+x360 + gain 6 mln. advantage in next 30-40 weeks.
Because,
ps3+x360 = 30,17 mln.
wii = 24,19 mln.

6 mln. in 30 weeks = +200k per week for ps3+x360 numbers.
At current rate, this is impossible for Wii.
After GTA4 and MGS4 releases i believe it will even fail to = x360+ps3 numbers and lose any chance to get closer to 50%.

Now, with ps3.
It has to sell over 25% per week from whole ps3+x360+wii.
And usually ps3 achieve this number. =)
After GTA4 and MGS4 releases PS3 has good chance to reach 25%, especially during summer time, since MGS4 will be the Only BIG game.

It doesn't need to sell > 50% to come closer to 50%, it just needs to sell better than the current % (so atm 45% +)
