Forums - Nintendo - Kotaku Gives New York Times VGChartz Story Creedence

Bump. This article needs to be flamed further, lol.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Around the Network

I have bought/been given 22 Games since launch, NOT Including WiiSports.
(I also did not get WiiPlay FYI)
The Wii Has been out for 17 months So, I'll set Up a yearly average...

If             22  = X
Then,       17 = 12
(Figure out the rest with 7th grade math...)

I'm Sorry If Buying 15 and 1/2 of a game each year isn't enough!      (15.529411764705882352941176470588 to be exact)

bottom line: they need to STFU.

Software totals last week:

Wii: 2,674,304
DS: 1,531,044
X360: 1,116,718
PS3: 876,520
PSP: 627,021

Week before, when Wii had no major games releasing:

Wii: 1,865,352
DS: 1,782,397
X360: 1,329,987
PS3: 1,167,631
PSP: 1,119,812

Looks like Wii software sells fine to me.

That is what is known as end of story.

Did you adjust for Wii Sports, just in case? Well it sold 260k last week, and 360k the week before. That still puts it just behind the DS two weeks ago, and still well in the lead last week.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Ridiculous all the comments speak of fail and only a couple posters actually mention Halo 3 drops, and that the Wii is actually doing well. I see 0 facts, 0 numbers, and 0 figures, no one even bothers to do the research almost (I saw 2 comments that claimed the article was fail) Is Kotaku full of noobs or something?

This is why I only go to Kotaku for top whatever list from other sites.

Former something....

I really hope these Kotaku kids never get their butts into VGcharts, I really enjoy the community here, most of us are a fanboy of a system or two but we don't flame like they do or say stupid stuff with no facts, and if a poster does they usually get banned. Seriously this is what happens when there's too many gaming noobs that think they own in video games, too many kids playing SF3rd Strike thinking they're the next Daigo or the next Ricki Ortiz when they've never set foot in a tournament. I can't stand the elitist hardcore in your face gaming talking smack all the time community that seems to be popular these days. Props to Ioi and the rest of the community here for making this site sooo good.

Why he need to adjust Wii sports, then he need to adjust PS3 and Xbox360 numbers because a lot of consoles come with 1 or 2 games.

It could've been worse, but every games sales decline after a while...

Brawl FC: 2106-1814-5245

It will be fun at E3 when Nintendo mentions the software numbers for their games. I wonder how Kotaku and others will try to ignore that. :P

BTW, Super Mario Galaxy has passed Halo in the game database now, the next best selling game on Xbox and Super Smash Bros Brawl is soon at 5m. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is on it's way to 5m to, so a few more gamers should be inspired to pick up some more hardcore titles now...

I think. May Okami sell well!

I was reading the responses earlier at kotaku's.
Much ignorant and fact twisting there.

People jump on the false article and take it as fact and use that to defend their view. It was sad and funny at the same time.
