Multimedia adaptation for The Witcher has skyrocketed the franchise into unbelievable heights.

Wouldn't this make The Witcher 3 one of the best selling, if not the best selling, RPG of all time? At the very least it should be past Skyrim.

Skyrim sold 30 million copies back in 2016, announced one month after the release of the PS4 and X1 version. So you have 30m plus LTD sales of the PS4 and X1 version (minus the first month), the Switch version, the next gen version and of course the PC version since December 2016.

Could definitely be over 40m.

Diablo 3 hit 30 million in August 2015, only three years after release.
Wouldn't be surprised either if that one is over 40m.

WHen AAA devs fuck up a project but people give them a free pass anyway. "but they updated it" shouldn't have been a mess in the first place.
