Leads me to wonder if a possible endgame to this war is Russia suing for peace after the death of its leader.

Didn't a very small amount of people get a similar reaction to the COVID vaccines? Wonder if that is what happened here. Not sure I have herd of shaking being a symptom for a blood cancer.

The Russian retreat from Kharkiv is interesting. It implies that Russia is unable to achieve its objectives there, and moreover, Ukraine has seemed for a while to actually have the upper hand there. The chances are that the Russian forces that were in the Kharkiv region are simply too spent to be useful there, or possible anywhere else either for a while. This leaves Ukraine able to move some military strength elsewhere, with Russia unable to fully answer this. That is, this should make it even harder for Russia to achieve its objectives elsewhere.

In this light, what Ukraine's head of military intelligence said in a Sky News interview certainly gains some credibility: 'As a result, we will renew Ukrainian power in all our territories that we have lost including Donbas and the Crimea.' At this rate, Russia will have to find new ways to react to the situation in Ukraine, but right now, it's not looking great for Russia.

Can’t say as medicine is a field I’m far from an expert in, but the reports were suggesting the shaking was potentially Parkinson’s. However that lends more credence to it being a fake report.

However apparently the FSB out a bulletin to all staff that such rumours were fake, which meant that every agent instantly assumed they were true as the most sure-fire way to confirm news in Russia seems to be the FSB denying it.

I'm starting to see stories that he has leukemia. While I'm ordinary full of sympathy for cancer patients (almost lost my dad, and lost a lot of other family members to cancer, it is no joke), it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, especially one who puts off a "tough guy" persona like Putin. I wonder how Putin's death would affect Russia's will to continue the war in Ukraine.

Using nuclear weapons would be suicide for the entire Russian nation.

To be fair when I found out Ukraine were participating didn't even need to watch to know the outcome.

This war is economic suicide for Russia it didn't stop them. Nuking Ukraine and let the wind blow radioactive ashes and particles over Europe is a way out to say I lost, but so did my enemie and most of its allies. Which will probably also be pushed by the UN to restore Ukraine and deal with the refugee crisis. Also using a nuke would ensure NATO not going after Russia. I mean which country will invade another country which not only had enough nukes to kill every civilian in that country but is also willing to use it. The old system of bilateral trade ensures peace doesn't work anymore.

They did not expect this to be an economic suicide. What they likely expected was sanctions similar to 2014, which would hurt their economy further but it would still be healthy enough for people of Moscow & St Petersburg to be satisfied and elite could continue to steal money from people.

But the response from the West was much, much stronger. Now it's obvious Putin feels his position is threatened. Propaganda went into overdrive, it's desperate, he knows he fucked up everything. 

Nuking Ukraine and letting a wind blow radioactive waste everywhere is not a way out of anything, not even Russian leaders would be dumb enough to use that kind of logic. Using a nuke would ensure they'll lose whatever support they have from countries like China.
