With Trump finally winning the next presidency after the attack on him, I think Ukraine should hoard the US missiles from now on and when Trump will stop supporting Ukraine, Ukraine can use those missiles to destroy planes and airbases on Russian ground.

They can't lose anything with this move anymore when Trump is president but will at least weaken Russia by some degree

Don't waste American missiles on targets which you are allowed to hit anymore

They should.

But I'd be concerned Western Europe would bitch them out and tell them they still have to respect America's rules even if they are no longer supporting them, that it would then make the cowards in Western Europe more reluctant to send Ukraine weapons because Ukraine will use their weapons however they see fit if they ever stopped supporting them.

Western Europe will probably take the stance of "it'll be okay, America will come to our rescue in 4 years again"

I am appalled to learn about the shooting of former U.S. President Donald Trump at his rally in Pennsylvania.

Such violence has no justification and no place anywhere in the world. Never should violence prevail.

I am relieved to learn that Donald Trump is now safe and wish him a speedy recovery. My condolences go out to the close ones of this attack’s victim, a rally attendee.

I extend my wishes for strength to everyone who is horrified by this event. I wish America emerges stronger from this.

Trump won't care about the above.

One crazy dude may have screwed over Ukraine and Europe.

Feeling bad for my fellow Americans but Europe must focus on itself and let America fix its own mess, Russia must be stopped and America is almost certain to backstab us under a Trump presidency. I'm sure our relations will improve if someone not as insane as Trump comes into power in the future but for now, Europe needs to do what is best for Europe.

Massively ramp up our military industries, become independent of America, stop relying on their military equipment and start building more of our own, we're going to have to do something drastic once America pulls support, such as sending troops into Ukraine. We must not let Trump bully us, if America tells us to stop supporting Ukraine then we should tell Trump to fuck off.

UK will hopefully take more of a leadership role for Europe, it must be UK or France as the only two nuclear countries. I'm now fully mentally preparing for Trump's presidency and Europe being alone in the fight against Russia and I hope NATO is preparing for that too. As long as almost all of Europe stays united and focused (obvious exception being Hungary) then we will still be in a strong position.

In the Netherlands, Dieseko Group BV was fined nearly €1.8 million for aiding Russia in constructing the Kerch Bridge, violating international sanctions. The company sold equipment and sent specialists to assist with the bridge's construction in 2015-2016. As part of an out-of-court settlement, Dieseko agreed to pay the fine and return €1.6 million in profits.

Viktor Orban stated at the NATO summit that Ukraine should not join NATO. During the plenary session attended by Zelenskyi, Orban also refused to commit to providing military support to Ukraine. Some leaders criticized Orban's stance, with one highlighting that Hungary's history demonstrates why Ukraine should be part of the alliance.

Ukraine plans to organize a large exchange of female prisoners of war, according to Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.

Over 400 Ukrainian women are in captivity, with severely wounded women being the priority for return. However, negotiating with Russia on this matter is challenging. The United Arab Emirates is assisting in this process.

"This is how the famous American blogger Jackson Hinkle....."

Russian state propaganda RIA Novosti and people like Jackson Hinkle go hand in hand. Quoting him, as if his opinion matters. Well, I can imagine since he is a notorious fake news spreader. He perfectly fits Russian standards.

Ukraine and Sweden are still talking about the transfer of JAS-39 Gripen fighter jets, according to Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Ihor Zhovkva. He told that this topic is consistently raised in discussions with Swedish leadership and added that Ukraine never refused these fighter jets, contrary to media reports.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán presented his "peace plan" to EU leaders, according to Balázs Orbán, the political director of the Hungarian government. He stated that from the trips to Kyiv and Moscow, it became clear that both Ukraine and Russia are determined to continue the conflict.

Consequently, Hungary began negotiating with potential mediators, including China, Turkey, and Donald Trump.

When will this clown understand he is unwanted in this process?

The EU plans to boycott Hungary's foreign policy summit due to Prime Minister Orban's actions, reports Politico. Brussels is considering this unprecedented step because of Orban's opposition to the EU's normal operations and foreign policy. Instead of attending the summit in Budapest, EU foreign ministers intend to organize their own foreign affairs summit in August. This move follows Orban's obstruction of aid to Ukraine and uncoordinated trips to Putin and Xi Jinping. By boycotting the Budapest meeting, the foreign ministers aim to send a clear message that Hungary does not represent the EU.

A Russian soldier from the 138th Brigade recorded an emotional video after a recent assault on Vovchansk, stating that out of 46 men, only 30 survived. The soldier, identified as Yevgeny Zarubin from Kursk, previously served in the Wagner Group and now trains and leads former prisoners in assaults. Many messages from relatives searching for missing soldiers after the Vovchansk assaults have appeared on social media.

Former Hillsborough County State Attorney Andrew Warren suggested that even though the meeting could have been "possibly illegal," it is unlikely the Logan Act will be used against the former president.

"On foreign policy, it's critical that America speaks with one voice," Warren told Newsweek. "The Logan Act prohibits individuals taking diplomacy into their own hands or undermining the government's official policy. Only two people have ever been charged for Logan Act violations, and Trump won't be the third but Trump using his camaraderie with U.S. adversaries like Orbán to weaken our foreign policy is possibly illegal and certainly un-American."

Former federal prosecutor Michael McAuliffe previously told Newsweek the Logan Act is a "largely untested" prohibition against private U.S. citizens attempting to influence American foreign policy, which in all likelihood will not be used to charge Trump or his family.

"While Donald Trump Jr.'s action in meeting with Orbán and addressing political and economic issues at several conferences, may technically implicate the Logan Act, actual enforcement is highly unlikely," McAuliffe said.

Did Donald Trump Break 'Logan Act?' What We Know - Newsweek

"Consequently, Hungary began negotiating with potential mediators, including China, Turkey, and Donald Trump." - China (a country), Türkiye (a country) and Donald Trump (a private citizen), Lol. It's absolutely wild that we're like "yeah, he may have broken the law but America won't do anything about it" man America is just weak lately, Lol.
