They should.
But I'd be concerned Western Europe would bitch them out and tell them they still have to respect America's rules even if they are no longer supporting them, that it would then make the cowards in Western Europe more reluctant to send Ukraine weapons because Ukraine will use their weapons however they see fit if they ever stopped supporting them.
Western Europe will probably take the stance of "it'll be okay, America will come to our rescue in 4 years again"
