9 months to capture Ukraine's 56th largest city, at the cost of tens of thousands of soldiers and hundreds of vehicles and Ukraine is now flanking the Russians in Bakhmut so we'll see how long they actually hold onto a city which is now rubble with no defensible positions and Ukraine slowly surrounding it.

Now Ukraine pulls out the city they can send those troops on the flanks and artillery/bomb the shit out of Bakhmut with no worry about hitting their own. This is very likely to end up being Russia's Stalingrad except Bakhmut wasn't anywhere close to as important as Stalingrad was. Part of me wonders if Russia will even declare victory because there's a very strong possibility they'll lose it shortly after.

So Prigozhin (Wagner) will claim a win after taking ruins of a city but since Wagner isn't a defensive group, they will hand the defence over to someone else (I.E. Russian Forces) who will lose the city shortly (which I'm sure Prigozhin knows will happen) but they can get out now, claim their victory (and money) and distance themselves from the scenario of when Russia loses Bakhmut and take none of the blame but all of the credit for taking it.

Prigozhin will then come out to bitch about Shoigu/Gerasimov again for losing Bakhmut and come out of this looking the best (in Russia). It's a pyrrhic victory in the best sense of the phrase, it would have been an okay tactical gain 3-5 months ago but definitely not now. Russia won't be able to push out of the city as originally intended, especially with Ukraine chipping at their flanks, they run a high risk of becoming fish in a barrel.

But Prigozhin will still claim victory because all his goal was to claim Bakhmut at any costs, anything that happens after isn't his problem. Get their money for taking Bakhmut and probably off to terrorise some African countries.

Seems more and more countries are turning on Russia. In that case it is World War 3, but it's most of the world vs one nation of murderous dumbasses.

Bakhmut is now gone forever it can be renamed to its original name. This was Stephan Bandera followers strongest line they piled troops in to defend it to the death for a reason.

To rub more dirt in wounds of Ukraine this all happened whilst zalensky is out of the country lol

Now Ukraine has to live with this forever as they stated Bakhmut is a fortress defended by the best sons of Ukraine and they lost it to convicts and according to the British fighting with shovels

After Bakhmut it's small villages and outposts. Untill they reach Kramatorsk once that goes it's over there's not much left to take to incorporate the 4 new regions

Ukraine will have to live with a lot forever due to what Putin and Russia have done.

He's a fascist lover who has posted nonsense in this thread multiple times already, been called out multiple times and always scurries off because he never has a decent rebuttal to anything, like the other Russian stooges they post a random comment, usually sourced from their garbage Russian sources and then go back to their cave after being challenged.

Almost everything he just said is wrong, as per usual, but I'm tired of debating these useful...You know what for Russia. Rather just focus my effort on posting the news and talking with people who aren't disgusting human beings but it's a shame this thread still has the occasional garbage comment like the one above, almost makes me want to stop posting entirely sometimes.
