Russia's economic collapse can't come fast enough.

One of the sad things about this war is I haven't seen any Russian protests lately, which means most of the anti war people have been pacified and the rest are complacent. The Russian people will continue to suffer, but it is also their fault for continuing to support such a regime.

Those in Russia are manipulated and brainwashed for decades. Can't be too mad about them. Just too much information from everywhere telling you about the bad Ukraine and stuff like that.
Much worse are Russians living somewhere else who also support Putin and the worst of all are people like Ecclestone (wtf dude) or Kim Dotcom. Damn, Kim is a real asshole trying to tell everyone why it's justified what Putin does and only the fault of Ukraine, USA and the "West"
Damn, seems like the next step of Russia's war could start soon. Belarus is claiming that Ukraine tried to strike Belarusian installations in Belarus but that they could shoot down all missiles and Ukraine is preparing for an invasion of Belarusian troops now.
If that happens I hope our politicians wake up and stop pretending as if some defensive weapons and old soviet tanks will be enough and realize that Russia will probably do what Europe is so scared about to do themselves. Send troops of other countries into Ukraine to win. At least they are already working on the propaganda needed to do it.

Thing is as well, Russian troops used Belarus as a staging area to invade Kyiv and Russia still has troops near the Belarus-Ukraine border. Ukraine attacking them is would still be a defensive measure.
Also, the notion that Ukraine would invade Belarus right now is absurd. Like Ukraine needs to drag another adversary into the conflict right now. Seems like another point aimed at Russia’s internal audience than anyone with any common sense.
Above - Words cannot express my level of contempt for that person (and I use the word person loosely).
I will never understand why people think republicans were ever patriotic when they keep saying traitorous shit like that.

Lysychansk and the neighboring cities fell really fast considering how long Ukraine could defend Sievierodonetsk. I wonder if Russia massively increased their forces there the last few days/weeks or If Ukraine just didn't try that much this time
I just hope Russia hasn't captured too many soldiers and equipment and that Ukrainians could fortify somewhere else very well.
Let's hope they won't reach Sloviansk and Kramatorsk too fast now. Behind that are only small villages for many miles.

I think it wouldn't really happen that fast unless the Ukrainians withdrew.
And I think Ukrainians had good reason to withdraw because of the risk of encirclement to avoid another Mariopol.
At least I hope that was the case.

It’s also not true. Syria has recognised the DPR and LPR and others typically Russian-aligned states might not be so vocal (Iran, Venezuela, Cuba etc) but clearly support the Russian. Kinda a whose who terrible countries.
