You've been borderline running a victory lap in a few threads (this thread and the Switch quarterly thread) claiming a cliff came and how you were right about it missing the 13.5 million forecast like no one else thought that was possible along with why it even bothers you so much that others are still optimistic on the console? I mean even in the Switch 2 vs PS5 for 2025 thread, it bothers you that so many people are voting for Switch 2? Like why does it matter to you how many people are optimistic about Switch 2? Im not sure how you can even be taken serious with your Switch fell off a cliff stuff when this is the definition of a console that didn't. Weird behavior for someone that also thought 170 million was possible. 

It's funny to read post like these just plain revealing your own bias. You mention Nintendo fans caring when this thread is about Switch surpassing 160 million and fans from all sides commenting but of course you only see "Nintendo fans" lol. How do you know they are a "Nintendo fan"? They were too optimistic about Switch? 

My cliff comment in the quarterly report thread was largely making fun of the people who kept predicting the Switch to fall off a cliff a long time ago so much that it became a meme here. There's also an element of making fun of the people who expected the Switch to somehow not have a huge decline due to the Switch 2 so I get that you see anti-Nintendo bias everywhere but there are people who try to be reasonable and make fun of nonsense regardless of where it comes from which includes overly optimistic or overly pessimistic predictions about the Switch 2.

A part of my "victory lap" was literally poking fun at the people who predicted the Switch to sell less than 140m as recently as 2021 so your characterization of me as someone against the Switch is completely absurd. Really your initial comment was utter nonsense not even remotely based in reality so the weird behaviour here is only coming from you mate.

I see that you completely ignored the part where I say that I make fun of nonsense regardless of where it comes which includes both overly optimistic and overly pessimistic predictions about the Switch and Switch 2 and how my so called victory lap had both. For the bolded I clearly already explained that having 170m as a high end prediction back in 2021 with a general expectation of somewhere in the 150s is completely different from thinking 170m was still a possibility as recent as this year so why are you lying about me and equating me with that when that's clearly not the case?

Im not lying about you because you did everything I am claiming you did. Nothing in your post you are saying now matters, you are just trying to justify your actions. So you claiming you make fun of both pessimistic and optimistic predictions doesnt mean much to me because it really doesn't appear as true as you claim.

You were in fact bothered by individuals being optimistic about Switch 2 and I can only imagine why that is. You did respond to a post saying the cliffers were right about the cliff coming because of Nintendo missing their fiscal year forcast. You also are bothered by people still being optimistic about Switch as if that matters so much to you. Those are all things I factually pointed out, not lies. Im sure next you are going to claim I always get so personal about others and their predictions so how do I have a leg to stand on saying this to you? Well its simple, it just plain isnt true and why you/others refuse to actually give me an example of me a direct example or even quote me at all. Thats the difference, I don't just make claims. I directly quote you or atleast point you to the post of you doing exactly the thing I'm claiming you are doing. I have done exactly that to you now or anyone else, I told you where you did this (this thread & the other thread) and what you said. You among others on the other hand have only accused me of behaving a certain way while simultaneously not quoting me doing it or telling me which post i did it. So I can only assume you or others arent being honest about what I said in order to push your agenda against me. This is because you would actually have to consider reading what I said and potentially throwing the poster I interacted with under the bus.

For example (because you know I love providing examples/evidence), posters have claimed I did it (getting triggered about anything Switch lol) in this thread with other posters. These individuals are going to claim I attack other predictions or whatever they say and conveniently not quote me or atleast point to the post I did it in at all. That is because they would have to admit to actually quoting posters making a prediction or saying something, the poster claiming they didn't say that, and then me directly quoting them doing it! In other words, either they forgot or lied. Regardless I was right and was never attacking your prediction or what you said. Just reminding you of what you said initially and the poster I interacted with not liking it because now they fear being viewed as dishonest by their peers because not many people enjoy dishonesty. Kind of hard to interact with others on a forum with dishonesty and misinformation running rampant. Long story short, if you are going to accuse me of something at least quote me or direct me to the post. If you think it's hotstile/aggressive, then tell me the sentence with the hostility. 

There is nothing to answer because its dishonest. You are only seeing what you want to see because of your own bias for Sony, hence there is no surprise PS2 is your favorite platform. I asked you a valid question of how you identify a Nintendo fan and ofcourse you dodged it. So I'll answer your question with a question, why do Sony fans care so much about Switch surpassing PS2 or not? I mean all of this 160 million stuff started because a prior president randomly and conveniently throughout a 160 million figure and then all of a sudden the company starts shouting it from the rooftops. Weird behavior from a mutltibillion dollar corporation lol. Yet you have nothing to say or ask of Sony? I wonder why? The company appears to be participating in console wars lol, a multibillion dollar corporation? 

So long story short, time for Sony fans to be honest. You are absolutely triggered about Switch and it's success because its hard to argue PS is the market leader with a competitor (direct or indirect) outselling you by 40 million. So now this is some kind of consolation prize for Sony fans hoping Switch fails to surpass PS2. Sony should worry less about protecting PS2 legacy and more about stopping PS5 from getting curbstomped by Switch/Switch 2. This is why you don't see Nintendo talking about PS at all while Sony can't keep Nintendo off their mind. Sony has a 30th year anniversary video glowing about the future of gaming where they mention Switch and make no mention of Xbox during the entire video, their direct competitor remember. Nintendo lives rent free in Sony fans and Sony themselves heads'. This is why Rol made this thread, Rol knew it would be triggering for a certain fanbase, whom showed up and have constantly had to up their predictions. The receipts are there, just have to "open your eyes". 

The first paragraph is just nonsense and for the 2nd one I responded to someone saying that people who bet against the Switch are always wrong since that wasn't true. I'm not bothered, I just find overly optimistic or overly pessimistic predictions silly regardless of what it's about. No need to mention my mod history, mods aren't immune to acting on their bias and are allowed to moderate based on subjective things. Long story short, notice how many times they act on hostility/aggression and refuse to point out exactly what was hostile to begin with? So you can save all of the fake validity via moderation lol, on the internet you are more likely to get in trouble for calling someone a liar than the liar is for lying. Now ask yourself why doesn't that work the same in the real world?

Edit: Also don't take that post out of context. The poster I was referring to was ofcourse being dishonest about how they were making a "honest mistake". They showed their true colors yet again later and I called it out. I never meant that at all and the poster went right back to their usual shenanigans followed by me quoting and debating them again but I'm sure you knew this and just cherrypicked that post out of context.
