On talent I have no doubt the merger made both companies worse and Bobby is likely the main reason. But on the profitability I have the impression they have grow a lot in the same period. Like we can hate the man for who he is and what he done as gamers, but for stockholders they were probably happy (if not they would have sacked him long ago).

All of its franchises have been setting records for revenue despite in some cases (World of Warcraft being the big one) declining playerbase numbers.

I think the Activision merger with Blizzard gets overstated though being the cause of Blizzard’s decline in quality. A lot of the poor choices made by blizzard over the last 10 years were just pure incompetence and made completely independently of activision management.

in fact, activision apparently didn’t step in to run things until about 2018 or so. Blizzard had multiple projects being incubated that all turned out nothing usable, and that’s when activision decided to put their foot down and reign Blizzard in

I'm going with you being partly right, but for the likelyhood those poor choices were made due to external pressure from Activision

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

None. I have a PC and Blizzard games play better on PC anyway.

Signature goes here!

I think it's time for them to resurrect Hexen. Microsoft owns Id Software, the current Raven team, and also the old Raven team and original Hexen developers (Roundhouse Studios). Give them back the Hexen IP.

Also, with Microsoft now owning both Zenimax AND Activision, let's bring back Wolfenstein (2009) to Steam and other digital storefronts.

Gun and prototype are the only games on that list I liked.

If they ever make a proper sequel to True Crime 1, that's what I will miss. I don't think there is anything else Activision Blizzard has that I care about.

None of those. Call of duty hasn’t been good in years. Last good one was black ops.
Diablo could be good. But Diablo 3 came out so long ago, it’s Diablo 4 even going to be a thing?
most those other games are not even worth mentioning, some have been dead I’m decades.
