Any death is unfortunate. But, she lived to be 99, just shy of 100. What more can one really ask for?

I’m 33 in less than an hour and I highly doubt I’ll live another 66 years! She had a great, full, long life. No sadness here, more a “you go, girl!” Attitude! Glad you got to experience a century on our fair planet

Yes and from all the  interviews from herself and about her from  those who worked with her or knew her that had a long life no sadness here was her attitude too .

One thing that's always stuck out to me looking back at her life is while we see her has having helped in pushing the boundaries for mature actors we don't realise just how much of a pioneer in regards to the number of firsts for women on radio and TV both on camera and in production that she accomplished especially in those early years, but what I personally most love about her is while we remember her wholesome imagine,I love the way she played up that image by adding both ribald and cynical humour to the mix and doing it with so much mastery that the juxtaposition had a very natural feel to it and one part didn't offset the others.

I grew up watching Rose on Golden Girls, but I didn’t really get to know who she was as a person until all these bio pieces about her started showing up. She really was amazing and the world is a better place for her having lived in it. I’m not mourning her passing, but celebrating her spirit. I especially loved hearing how much she enjoyed going on game shows in her younger years; she was so witty and quick.

And as Ryan Reynolds said, now she knows the secret.

There would be a microphone, up on a stand;, on stage.

...An emptiness just waiting for a disruption from it's slumber... Then;, in would walk Betty, at an advanced yet innocent age, and out of her mouth could be spurted the most dirty or raunchy comment, and it was so un-expected and perhaps a slight off-cuff, but some of the funniest shit I have had the honor of being witness to.
