I just got a Gizmondo for $75 Canadian. However, there is a spec of dust under the LCD screen, and it's making me go insane. What type of screw driver would I need to get, to open up the Gizmondo, and remove that spec of dust? Ugh, it's winking at me. It's just so annoying.

Those of you who don't know what a Gizmondo is, check it out here:

It was a commercial failure, and that's one of the main reasons why I bought it!

the question is why did you get a gizmondo???

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

For $75? It's a screaming deal! Also, it is a very under rated system. Its technical specifications are very high. It's a fantastic multimedia device. It has a camera on the back. And it looks nice. I don't know why it failed so miserably.

Also, I needed it for my portable console collection. Now I need a Nokia N-Gage.

Do you have a PSP?

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I have a Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance SP, Gameboy Micro, Nintendo DS Lite, Playstation Portable, Sega Gamegear, and Gizmondo.

What are you going to do with the Gizmondo?

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

The Gizmondo has a camera, which all of the other portables lack, and it can be used in the games. The graphics are better than the Nintendo DS, which means that it has the second greatest graphical capabilities in any portable gaming console in the entire world. It's also made of a nice, rubbery material, that doesn't get scratched.

The only thing that irritates me is the stupid spec of dust. It's smaller than a period, but it's still very annoying. Even worse, the console is mint, so that spec of dust is even more glaring, because it's the only imperfection, so all shame is focused on it. Yeah, I know I'm over exaggerating, but it's just so annoying!

My Playstation Portable has one dead pixel. My Gamegear has dust trapped underneath the screen. Oh, don't get me started on the Gameboy Micro. Ever since I switched face plates, the sealed vicinity of air, in between the faceplate screen, and the LCD, was broken, and dust entered. No matter what I did, at least one spec of dust was left behind. My Nokia 8800's screen also has dust locked inside.

Play games! I haven't played any of them yet, but I will soon. I just got it an hour ago. It can also do homebrew.

Gizmondo went bankrupt in 2005 a few months after its launch, lol

Hey, the Gizmondo is an awesome portable. You herd me right... Awesome! It doesn't have very many games, but some of the games it has are very well done. And its graphics are outstanding! Check out the graphics on Richard Burns Rally: http://www.gizmondoforums.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=6&pos=1 Those graphics are arguably better than the graphics on many PSP games, and all, or almost all of the Nintendo DS games. I've seen worse graphics on the Xbox 360, and maybe the Playstation 3. No joke!
