The only people angry about Section 8 are the people that weren't invited.

At least that's what I gather from the posts in this thread. All the people who weren't invited seem very bitter and whiny, and would have made Section 8 suck.

To those who missed Section 8: it was plainly visible to those who checked the post histories of anyone who had posted there. That's how I found it.

My one suggestion for if a forum like this was actually made is that the limit to members shouldn't be for those who can see into the forum, but for those who can post in the forum. Losing all of the topics made in this forum to a majority of the users would be annoying and probably make some feel bitter, but if they could atleast see the topics being discussed even if they couldn't respond in that thread then it might alleviate it and we wouldn't miss out on all of these discussions because we don't meet the requirements. I'm sure there would be some issues, but personally that's the way I would like it to work if it truly comes about.

Umm obviously your comparison is missing something. It would be like a restaurant with a dress code in which you're still refused even if you wore the proper attire because someone there doesn't think you're worthy enough (in this case though it's not the owner but rather another customer eating there).

Your analogy of "clubs" is flawed. Because with clubs they aren't public like this forum. They are private. So you guys are taking a public forum and making an elitist group. That's kinda wrong.

Another thing you have to take into consideration is your excuse of being more mature.

That's why we have people moderating the site. We have to rely on them to take action if someone steps out of line. Making secret forums wont change that.

It isn't your duty to move into a different section to get away. Its the Waiters and Managers (AKA Mods) duty to either escort them out or ask them to settle down.

Also if your looking for privacy at a restaurant then you should probably have stayed at home and dined in...

Why don't you go start your own board if you don't think the one here is good enough for you? You have been a member here since the end of December 2007 and you have had plenty of time to make posts in the Website Forum if you weren't happy with things. You feel the need to create new forums on this website and exclude existing members and for what reason? Because you don't feel they're mature enough or simply that you don't like them? Whatever.

Hmm, after reading people's opinions I honestly don't see the need for such a private area. If people are annoyed or agigated by people then the simple solution would be ignore them. Is it really that hard to scroll past a particular post, or even better, report it to a moderator and have the person who pisses you off so much banned?

 It's impossible to avoid being annoyed by people in any situation when you are discussing things because obviously everyone has conflicting views. Despite how "worthy" somebody may consider another, theres always going to be something they disagree on, what then, kick them out of the private area?

You didn't even bother to find out what happened yesterday you just jumped out with a kenzomatic is trying to destroy the site thread. As I said in the PM I sent you I don't know where this personal attacks have come from. The other people here disagreeing make point about the subject all you seem to want to do is ask insulting rhetorical question.
