Dark Souls 1 is an absolute masterpiece.  It's one of the best games ever made.  Period.  The other Souls games are great too.  Bloodborne is an abomination though, and I don't count it as a Souls game.

I hope Elden Ring brings back the original Dark Souls mojo!

I agree with u but ds1 has some flaws but still quite a good game,

bloodborne on the other hand took the genre to another level,

devil may cry 5 / horror game / van helsing/ souls game / lovecraftian hybrid which was an epic surprise and my gawd the game looked astonishing and played very well,

hopefully they give us what we want! 60 fps remastered version for the ps5

Has it been that long already? I would have never guessed. I do remember almost every little detail about my first experience with it vividly (curse you Ornstein and Smaug). I also remember all the anticipation and hype before that because of how much I loved Demon's Souls (which I got day one on PS3).

It it hard to say which one is my absolute favorite because I love different things about each game: DS for its lore and interconnected map. Bloodborne for the world building, horrific atmosphere, and great gamplay mechanics. DS3 for having best bosses in the series and refined gameplay in general (also because miracles are actually viable in PvP). My favorite series of all time.
