It sold much less than the Xbox 360 but it didn't cost them a billion dollars to fix an issue, either.
Personally, the Xbox One was (and still is) my console of choice. I think I'm bowing out of gaming, though. But back on track-- Xbox exclusive franchises really lost their "Oomph" during the Xbox One era. Halo isn't as big as it once was. Gears isn't a heavy hitter these days. But for Microsoft, I imagine they're making a ton of money. More than they did last gen. They just happened to be competing with potentially the best selling console of all time so it just looks like they suck.
