A short pass in the middle would have worked. That would have taken fewer seconds off the clock and allowed for a spike.

But the way this played out, Dak and his receivers should have been prepared to snap the ball and make a play instead of an attempt to spike the ball.

They weren't even aware of the rules on that last play-- he gave the ball straight to his centre and tried to snap it but he was meant to give it to the ref. Yet there are enough idiots on the internet who think the ref intentionally tackled him and screwed the game lol.

Well, that was entertaining lol

Thank God, Dak Prescott and Randy Gregory are even bigger idiots than Jimmy.

Yup, the Cowboys blocked the ref's path to the ball. That was another piece of the puzzle for a QB who panicked and made a terrible decision on the preceding play. I mean, even a QB run could have been okay at that moment if Dak hadn't tried to get as many yards as possible. He could have run for ~5 yards and slide regardless of the defenders' positions.

To end a game like this where the 49ers kept getting into their own way and opted to punt, and then subsequently allowed quick and big gains for the Dallas offense... it really is so Cowboys.

So we should've gone for it on 4th and 6 after the penality, risk losing it and giving Dallas the ball at midfield with 32 seconds left?

Same as what I said about the Eagles. As far as I'm concered, Steelers put up a zero on the board. That offense is pathetic.

I like what Urinatingtree said. They either ref'ed balled their way into wins this season that they did not deserve, or the teams they faced were riddled with injuries or covid or both

That 49'ers game was great!

I'm rooting for them in the NFC

Wow that is a trash thing to say if true. Blaming the refs when you get paid $40mil a year, make dumb decisions and don't know the damn rules.

The official is actively trying to help the Cowboys despite their intereference and stupidity, yet the Cowboys turn around and praise people for throwing trash at them. Unbelievable.

I figured the Chiefs would win by 3 TDs - a FG by the Steelers, but apparently they were too bad to even get a single FG. By the time they started getting TDs, it was over.

The play call for a QB draw was a good one, Dak just ran for too long. Whether they ran that play or a pass play they were basically setting up for 1 or 2 shots into the end zone from around the 30. But Dak took it inside the 25 IIRC and left them too little time. He also handed the ball to his player and not the ref.

Just another mistake for the least disciplined team in the NFL.
