OT: Call M$ and see if they will repair the console if its under warranty. Hopefully it is. If not there might be a price drop sometime soon so you might be able a bit of an easier purchase in the future.

Also to keep the 360 cooler, buy a Antec Laptop Cooler. It is powered by the USB port and can drop the overall term by 10 degrees Celsius.

Still what types of games do you like? Each console has games of almost every genre. I only ask because you said you bought the 360 because it has games you like.

@ Gazz - if you weren't implying the PS3, then can you read what's in your sig to the class?

@ the folks mad at Gazz - realize he's a PS3 fanbot and everything he says, including his claim of 12 360s dead due to Guitar Hero, is anti-Xbox. And of course, good job ignoring sailormoon.

@ SS12 - I need the kind of glasses you have if you don't think Gazz was trolling. I'll probably get warned or banned for saying it, but honestly, he was adding nada to the convo except to get a good laugh on the n00b.

OT: Even if it has bit the dust, contact MS anyhow. They know their machines have probs, but they should help you out. If not, there are a few members on these forums who have 360s but love their other systems more - maybe they'll sell you one cheap. In the future, you need to see if the warranty tag is intact before buying something used.

Buy a good console next time, you probably knew of the RROD issue before getting it. Next time make a safer bet.

As for MS in Argentina - are there any "official" Microsoft Xbox 360 stores in Argentina? I would try to call one and see what they say. I have no idea how/where MS works at in that country, so it might be tough to find some answers from them, but I'd definately try from an official source.

If not, try the official Xbox forums. You have enough mastery of the english language to where they might be able to point you in the right direction.
