I've only fully completed MK64, Double Dash, DS and MKWii. I've play MK Super Circuit but not all the way through. Based on the ones I've completed

Best: MKWii
Worst: MK64 (probably because I played it after DD/DS)

Worst: Mario Kart 64 (PAL version) <== Based on Rol's horror stories. The non-PAL version was awesome though.

Best: Super Mario Kart. It did everything right.
