Personal choice Underground 2, it was the closest to being a street racer type of game, i dislike most wanted cause it was street racing with lambos, switch i have never seen a lambo racing down the street.

I havent played pro street.

But I think Underground 2 was definately my favourite out of the others.

I would say most wanted, but I didn't really bother playing Carbon much (just rented it)

Most wanted is the best by far.

NFS Underground 2. Of all the games in the series, Underground 2 was the most conducive to free roaming.

well pro street was good and probably best of all listed here nfs games(underground series was a total crap and carbon and most wanted are just a little pretier underground games but still they're crap). only pro street was really fun rest i couldn't stand becasue all those 'fast and the furious' kind of crap.

the only really good ones are nfs: porsche and nfs: hot pursuit.

 i didn't like whole underground series. it was too arcade even for need for speed series and with all 'blingbling tunning' and hiphop style the gameplay was preaty dull. i liked pro street much better than last four games but the best one was porsche.

NFS:Most Wanted for the psp version

Most Wanted by a mile, it reminded me of times when EA would actually change theme and perspective every two games or so.
None of those 5 come close to the original or Hot Pursuit 1 and 2 though.
