Forums - General - What do you think of Mongolia?

- I think of the least densely populated country in the world

- 2nd largest landlocked country

- Buddhism

- Borders China and Russia

- Around 3 million people

- Mountains in the north, and the Gobi desert to the south

What do you guys think of when you hear the name, Mongolia?

Genghis Kahn.

Actually strangely enough I generally don't think of Mongolia.

If pushed though I would think Genghis Khan and the Golden Horde.

i think of  Genghis Khan too
plus deserts and mountains, Buddhism, not much else...

I do not care about Mongolia whatsoever. Mongolia can suck my balls.

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

I think of the great wall of China, it was built just to keep mongolians out of China lol

I'm still pissed off at how they sacked Bagdad and were one of the biggest factors in the Islamic world stagnating. A bit silly, seeing as how it happened almost 800 years ago, but effects still haven't worn off. =/

Anyone think of that one epidsode of south park?
