Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
What's interesting about this after Troy is that this will be released on Steam this year, meaning there's no year-long Epic exclusivity and probably no exclusivity at all.
Anyway, this might finally be the moment I try out the Warhammer games... probably by buying the second game once its price drops. I know now that Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 are different things, but I'm still quite repulsed from the name by what Warhammer 40,000 is (or at least seems to me). The Total War: Warhammer series seems kind of nice though, so I should probably get into it at some point.
Eh. Not the one I wanted a sequel for. I didn’t play the first two, I’m not interested in the fantasy setting; tried the Third Age mod for Medieval II once, but was done with it after like ten minutes. Obviously I know the mod was fan made and thus pretty rough around the edges while an actual game by the real developers would not be, a fantasy setting just doesn’t work for me in a game like this. I’d much rather have the historical setting. Besides, as far as fantasy goes I’m also not exactly invested in Warhammer (I barely know it exists and is a thing).
As far as #3s go I’d rather have had Medieval III, or Rome III even if Rome II doesn’t feel old yet. I’d also like an Empire II, or a new era altogether.
I'm still mad Sega adds Denuvo to all their PC releases. I would get it otherwise, but I won't install malware on my PC.

This was a planned trilogy over a small amount of years. They are more like major expansions than brand new games. A Rome or Medieval 3 would be a much larger leap over their predecessors than Warhammer 3 will be to Warhammer 2 and than 2 was to 1 in terms of features and graphics.
I didn't think I'd be into the setting either when 1 came out, but boy was I wrong. 2 and the Mortal Empire campaign was truly epic. I am very excited for this game. Going back to just humans vs. human TW games has kind of been ruined for me haha. That being said, Medieval 3 is probably in my top 5 most wanted games for any company.
