Easy earnable currency? How long do you have to play to get enough coins to unlock everything?

Everything?, their is a 1000 things you can unlock with every week adding more stuff.  It is like getting every car in a Gran Turismo/Forza game. Point is if you want a particular skin/bloodspray/Emotion/country banner it will take a short time to unlock it (based on skill and modes you play).

So what you're saying is it's like League of Legends, where if you want a particular champion you can just play for a day and unlock it. But if you want all champions it would take you nearly a year to unlock them all. Except it's already a $60 game, with monthly paid online required.

What we need is more players in the field, not fewer. That is, I wouldn't like it at all.

Nah characters are easy to get, if you want the Mexico banner you can unlock it a short time playing, you want a red skin again unlock it in a short time but what's the point grinding for all the country banners or the 900 invidual weapon skins when you will never use them.

How is that bad when we litteraly have other games that are 60$ +60$ with DLC fighters?

I would be terrible. Amazon have zero passion for games and very little soul in general. Say what you will about the output of Ubisoft in recent years (I buy very few of their games these days) but having them taken over by a retailer would spell the end for Ubisoft...

I would not like this to happen personally because I just don't like the idea of companies who have totally unproven record in gaming industry like Google or Amazon coming with the deep pockets and starting to buy out publishers.

But speaking about the case of Amazon buying Ubisoft, from what we know, I don't think it's gonna be the end of the world:
- First of all, Amazon owned developer already launched a game that was available on consoles and PC. I think there is a potential scenario when Amazon locks the games out of consoles and release them only on PC and Luna, but it's definitely not gonna be anytime soon. Amazon also was listed as a developer that supports Xbox, so it seems like restricting their games to only their cloud service or cloud service and PC is not a part of their strategy. I would only worry for those less than 1% people who went full on Stadia or xCloud, because when it comes to cloud streaming, there 100% will be a Luna exclusivity in case Amazon acquires Ubisoft.
- Ubisoft is a AAA publisher with a huge mainstream exposure, which has more than 50% of revenue made on consoles if I'm not mistaken. Amazon is not that dumb to just drop that large chunk of revenue. As I already mentioned before, the console users should not worry, because Amazon unlike Google seems to understand that cloud services don't have that much availability and popularity as consoles or PC, so it's not their war. Their main goal would be to secure exclusivity on cloud streaming only.

P.S. Just looking at me shelf, I don't see a single Ubisoft game there, so even if the worst case scenario happens when games are locked to the cloud as a result of such buyout, I would not like it because of the reason mentioned above, but it's not like I will lose something by not subscribing to Amazon service.

It would be the death of Ubisoft in no time...

...Amazon, could you please buy EA?

Microsoft tried to buy Nintendo, let Amazon give it a try!

Actually, I really hate it when fighting games start with a small-ish roster and then have two or three $40 DLC packs.

How long would it take to unlock at least all the character skins in Gears 5?

Yeah don't why the higher ups at Amazon greenlight Luna most been something that Jeff Bezos did .

I don't think I've played a Ubisoft game in the past 5 years aside from Rayman Legends and Mario + Rabbids, so I'd probably be fine with that. Although I don't think big third party studios getting gobbled up is generally good for the industry.
