Forums - Gaming Discussion - How would you feel if Amazon bought someone big like ubisoft? I think luna launched 1 month ago?

It would be ironic since Ubisoft was just saved from a hostile takeover.

It would be fine. It's not like we have to play every single game out there and people are ok with buying expensive consoles to play exclusive games. That's how the business works and people will get used to it.

I wouldn't like it.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Ubisoft has been lame for years now anyway. They just pump out Assassin's Creed Hooverville, Assassin's Creed Vietnam, and Assassin's Creed Borneo.

Now, if Amazon, or Google bought some other big player like Capcom, Sega, or Square Enix? Yeah, I'd be pissed. That would basically spend the end of those companies as well as the end of those games on Xbox, PS, or Nintendo. I would expect a ton of MTX injected into all those games to the point where they aren't worth buying anymore. Kinda like how Gears 5, and MK11 were ruined.

Gears 5 is doing it fine:   =>Release skins for Iron (can earn a limited amount in game or have to buy)  One week later =>  You can get them with coins (very easy earnable currency.

Easy earnable currency? How long do you have to play to get enough coins to unlock everything?

As long as no one buys Capcom.

Can we not, please?

No. Stop this. No more massive mega soulless corps buying more gaming publishers.

Everything?, their is a 1000 things you can unlock with every week adding more stuff.  It is like getting every car in a Gran Turismo/Forza game. Point is if you want a particular skin/bloodspray/Emotion/country banner it will take a short time to unlock it (based on skill and modes you play).
