For Nintendo its like 90% casual focus and 10% hardcore. It seems like they dumbed down a lot of there games so kids and families can play them which is ok but it takes out the challenge and depth for hardcore gamers

What an intelligent and well-thoughtout post. Can you share more of your insights with us? Maybe with examples or even facts next time?
Considering I am not Nintendo or work for/in cooperation with Nintendo(sorry I forgot the proof D:) I can just say that I am not aware of their intentions. So, unlike many people posting here(not all) I am going to have to follow Miyamoto's word above all else's.

From what I've heard, the N64 version of Super Smash Bros was much slower than Melee was, which is why some people that I know still play the N64 version (that or they never got a GC). So the fact that they slowed it down (though not as slow as the N64 version), was probably to please some hardcore users. But not everyone is going to be happy, are they?
And what chain grab is broken exactly? And what else is broken?
