Seriously though, it's a game on PC. made by Nintendo, let's you play online, is totally free and HAS NO CASH SHOP.

It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.  Although you can also get it on tablets, no it doesn't work on phones.

Sony want to make money by selling art, Nintendo want to make money by selling fun, Microsoft want to make money.

It's a pretty fun game, I occasionally pop in and out every once in a while to play a few rounds. Wish they would port it to the Switch tbh, I tend to forget about it because it's only on PC and Mobile.

my time is too valuable to watch a 6 minute video. Does it have proper singleplayer?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

How easy is it to collect coins? How long would it take to actually get a decent deck by buying booster packs with coins alone?

I used to play Pokémon TCG in real life, but I stopped because it was too expensive (€50 for one Shaymin EX!). I also quit the online game, because back then the only way to get new cards was by buying real booster packs and entering the codes.

Played on my tablet years ago, ate up so much memory I had to delete. But ya PC is the way to go. Fond memories playing back in the day

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

A switch version would should be a no brainer for Nintendo.  Why they haven't ported it yet is bizzare.

Getting coins is really easy, it just requires winning online.  About 5-6 wins will get you a new decks worth of coins.  As you already know how to play, you'll be flying.

Not setting the bar too high. Sorry I couldn't help myself.
