Can I just say that I hate souls games but yet I still felt compelled to pre order demon souls. Idk why, it’s the only game I got so far

Walmart lowered my order from $70 to $50 so now im pretty happy about ordering it

I've never seen someone quote themselves like that rather than just edit their initial post. lol

Also, that's awesome news!  It would be great if certain retailers gave specific preorder discounts like this NA wide, sort of like an E3 preorder discount that use to happen.

SIE

  1. Spiderman
  2. Demon Souls
  3. Demolition all-stars
  4. Sackboy
  5. Astro pack-in thingy

Third party

  1. COD
  2. AC
  3. NBA2k
  4. GodFall
  5. Cyberpunk
  6. Devil May Cry 5 Remastered (digital only)

And I am sure there will be a couple of others that make it out for launch too or that I am missing.

In other news:

PS5 shipment allotment tracking reveals that split is 3:1 (75% vs 25%) in favor of the physical SKU. Sony is believed (from math) to be losing around $30 on the physical SKU and around $100 on the digital SKU.

$450 BOM +$80 add on charges (as was with the PS4 for retailers cut and shipping). The true cost to sony, PS5 ($530), PS5D ($500). So basically, or every 4 consoles sold, (3physical and 1 digital) sony is losing $190 or $47.5/console.

I expect this ratio to start to swing in favor of the digital SKU sometime next year or as costs manufacture stats to drop.

cyberpunk won't come out until the 19th.

Also, are the free upgrades supposed to be day 1s as well?

I kinda grouped everything to cover within a week of launch. Most of the third-party titles in that list don't even come out till the 13th, while some come out on the 10th.

And as for the free upgrades, for games that have a PS5 release too, then yeah, the fee upgrades for those that support that will have them at launch. With Cyberpunk though, that PS5 version/release doesn't come till next year. Buyin this year on the PS4 means you would be playing the PS4 version with some "native upgrades/benefits", basically, you will keep higher rez and higher framerate and faster loading, but no RT stuff or Ultra texture pack...etc. But you get those free when the update is released for the PS5 next year.

If there are people that accuse Sony of lying about TLOU2 because Joel was in the trailer (so they decided that it should mean you would play extensively with him) so why not wouldn`t people accuse Sony of lying even though they never said all their games would be next gen, they just said they believe in gens and want to make a very fast transition, that really wasn`t disproven or anything. Well there is people accusing Sony of lying when they said the rumour of they reducing the production from 16M to 11M due to yields of 50% and that they would price consoles 399 and 449.

Wasn`t next gen Yakuza supposed to be Xbox exclusive for some time?

All that s just forum nonsense. None of that is reflective of what is happening outside the forum bubble. the thing is selling like crazy as expected, crashing websites, topping amazon yearly charts only second to things like animal crossing and last of us in the UK...etc.

Simple truth is, no one outside console warring give a shit about all that nonsense.

Cool, would be even better if they market exclusive (and temporary) for the third party titles as well. DMC5 is exclusive right? And Fortnite was show but I don`t remember if there was any kind of exclusivity.
