These are pretty good, especially given that these are your first songs. I have a few tips if you're interested from one bedroom musician to another.
Hey man, thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it. With my latest release this weekend (so song number 4) I have been able to experiment with a de-esser and go deeper in the wave files themselves within Adobe Audition. I do think the result is better than in the previous songs where there are some harsh sounds indeed. Feel free to check out "Promise of the Loud":
I am still learning but the next time I'll release something it's gonna be an album. That means on top of the above 4 there will be 4 others which will be released within one package, the album I call "Wonder Why". For those remaining songs I'll probably be able to work with a producer and recording studio. Since the album release will replace the previous uploaded files on streaming services it means that I will have a chance to make some edits to iron out some rough edges.
I almost feel like a 2021 game developer making music but with studio time and producer and some ironing of especially the first two songs I believe I will be able to release something I will stay proud of soon.
On top of the album that I'll try to have ready by the end of march there is a second album that I'm working on as well (half the lyrics written, most tracks ready). This time hopefully not with a staggered release. One song will release just before summer (to start of hopefully a fun free period of time where corona is not ruling all our lives as the majority of 2020, and the remaining 7 songs should follow not long after.)
