Well, we got our first 2nd Round matchup of the Western Conference; Phoenix and Denver. (One city that's too damn hot, another that's too damn cold.)

If Jamal Murray was healthy, I'd say this would be a very close matchup that could go to Game 7, which would go either way. But without him, the Suns should be the favorites to win.

Montrez Harrell was a terrible addition for the Lakers he also tanked for the Clippers during the playoffs last year but tanked even worse for the Lakers during the playoffs.

Curtains for Lakers it seems. That damn injury bug.

Kind of dispels the notion that James is the best player on that team, doesn't it? He misses the playoffs, Davis shows up, he wins a ring, Davis gets hurt the next year, can't win again. It's pretty obvious which straw stirs that drink imo.

Bound to happen eventually: Lebron is older, father time is undefeated.

Well the Clippers won today despite their bench playing like hot garbage; four points total and zero points in the first three quarters. I'm thinking the Clippers will probably win game seven but if I was a betting man I wouldn't put money on it.

And the Clippers stave off elimination. Or more accurately, Kawhi and Jackson stave off elimination, most of the rest of the team didn't much seem to mind either way.

And now Twitter is awash with people saying if they win 7 they are locked for the finals or even the chip. Which has me baffled given the fact they are struggling to put away a Mavericks team lead by a 22 year old

Someone needs to remind the Bucks they aren't the 2016 Warriors. Jacking up ill advised threes by the dozens is literally the DUMBEST strategy they could use on this team. And tighten up your dang defense

Nice win by the Hawks even with Embiid relatively healthy I think the Hawks can win this series.

Yeah, it feels like teams never take the Hawks and Trae seriously and I'm wondering how many times he's gonna have to go insane like he did in the first half especially for teams to wake up and realize he's actually pretty good at this whole basketball thing.  The Sixers tightened it up as the game went on, but you gotta take this team seriously.

Well Clippers seem to have this one. We'll see how they handle a series against a much better built team. But having to play Kawhi and Paul who are not ironmen by any stretch 7 games isn't going to help their cause.

Luka is pretty special. Just needs a one or two better pieces around him.
