Forums - Gaming Discussion - PS4 VS NS VS XBO: Most searched console last 12 months on Google.

Worldwide Last 12 months, PS4 was and is the top searched home console. This is a clear answer why PS4 is still selling strong, 7 years after its launch. People are still searching for it (for offers and deals). A Price cut could cause market hysteria, if it happens in September.

Switch's yellow bar is more than half of PS4's blue bar. So if your logic of a price cut boosting sales of PS4 considerably is accurate, then that same logic could conclude that Switch having a price cut could lead to proportionally more of a sales boost since it has sold like twice what PS4 has this year.

Poor Xbox One though.

Wright Switch

And the Nintendo Switch is the best selling console

Does that take into account alternate forms eg. "PS4" and "Switch" or is it literally just "PlayStation 4" etc.?

No alternate forms. If you go with your  PS4 and Switch comparison, then both are really neck-to-neck, but you can still add Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch to the mix:

Why so much outrage about some facts from google. PS4 is more searched, what’s the problem here ?

The Nintendo Switch sells better than the PS4, then the Switch is widely + sought after on Google and it even was in short supply. Anyway, you're a troll
Try typing Switch next time

The issue, as several people pointed out, is that drawing conclusions on sales based on search results is obviously fallacious.  It's made even worse by the fact that you arbitrarily chose certain search terms, when obviously those aren't the only search terms being used (I was looking to buy an Xbox One yesterday and typed XBox One S). When people point out these obvious issues, you wonder why people are being "outraged" (nobody seemed to be particularly angry)... which makes it seem like provoking a response was precisely the point. For those reasons, locking.
