So the Switch is the trashiest?

I've always mantained the N64 is the least trashiest console by virtue of game library alone. I feel vindicated.
Much like I've always said that Andrew Garfield is a better Spiderman than Tobey McGuire, even if his films are not. I cant wait for a thread about that.
Either way this is worthless. If I cared about this info, it'd be about the absolute numbers, not this ratio.
So PS3 having 49 games over 90+ score is more appealing and impressive than N64's 16. even if ps3 has 1328712937 more games than N64 with a shitty score.

Judging by % doesn't really matter to me. PS2 had over double the 90 score games as GC and imo was a much better system. I had all three consoles that generation. PS2 happens to be my favorite console of all time; as with games I had on both PS2 and Xbox or Gamecube the PS2 version almost always performed better and a lot of hidden gems that might have been 8 or 7 out of 10 reviewed, but were better than a lot of Nintendo 9s to me. Next would probably be the Xbox 360 or original Xbox. 

Another issue with this way of ranking things.

If you just look at current gen:
ps4 33/2704=0.012
one 20/2523=0.007
switch 18/2540=0.007

Switch is the Trashiest of the 3?
And PS4 is almost twice as good as the other two?

That’s because it’s probably not fair to count the current system’s large libraries of indie games, which could never have existed on the older consoles.

However that does make PS2’s humongous amount of games even more impressive. They actually all had to be released. 

So all games scoring below 90 are trash?

I've enjoyed games with metascores in the 65-70 range, before, that I wouldn't call Trash.
I think for a fair compairison you should look at entire game library (for each console), and all games above 65 metascore.

You could argue that treats all games as equal, even if haveing a 90 rated one, is more important than haveing a 65 rated one.
Its a hard thing to judge. More games of good quality is usually a fantastic thing though.

The problem with MC scores for older generation is games like Fifa or NBA 2k getting +90 scores, which doesn't make any sense.
