Ya I can’t help but feel I’d be more sympathetic if she didn’t look so out of place. Workout equipment I’m sure you can maintain in a safe town. But the daily amounts of protein she would need to maintain and grow muscle....very hard to believe she has access.

Assuming you played the game, don't you remember when they walked past the WLF gym? They had a full training facility where there were a lot of people working out.
Also remember the big mini boss enemies with the pickaxes? You need food to maintain that mass.
